Anxiety and Depression treatment, who do I see?
If I have very high levels of anxiety and depression and want to talk to a doctor about treatment do I go see a regular doctor? My school has a free health clinic and I was wondering if I could use them to talk about it. I know my roommate is also suffering from something similar and he goes to that clinic a lot and has a prescription for Prozac but I'm not entirely sure it's related.
Anxiety and depression treatment not working?
I have social anxiety, depression.Ive been on paxil, zoloft, ativan, prozac, welbutrin, seroquel, pristiq, buspar and clomipramine for these past 2 and a half years and i either felt worse or just weird on them. Now im struggling with these illnesses. I cant go outside because im to anxious. Im to embarassed of myself to be around people. So basically for the past 2 years i go to school and then come home and obsess about my conditions on the internet. Nothing good is happening in my life. I feel like people are out to get me and im embarassed of myself. Im stuck in a rut that i need to get out of. Im just to embarassed to get out of it.

Im 19 years old and ive been suffering fro pretty severe anxiety, depression. its gotten worse ever since college started. In the past ive taken paxil, zoloft, ativan, prozac, welbutrin, seroquel, pristiq,buspar and clomipramine. ive been on 3 SSRI'S, 1 SNRI, 1 NDRI, 1 ANTIPSYCHOTIC, 1 TCA, 1 ANTI ANXIETY AGENT AND 1 BENZO over the past 2 years and none have helpe me. What will the doctors do next and when can i conclude that medication will not help me because i cant keep waiting. how many medications am i gona try before they stop them
