Get out into nature...get up at sunrise, or just before and go out and inhale and experience the new wave of fresh energy, and gaze at the rising sun for not more than 10 seconds on the first day, and increase by 10 second increments only on following days, and look only at the risiing sun in its first hour of rising. Google 'sun gazing' for more info. This really works. Try writing a list of all your positive points and accomplishments and read it every day. Forgive everybody including yourself, and everything...Catherine Ponder's books detail a wonderful forgiveness technique that really works. Look her up in a Library Catalogue...wonderful books...I think there is one called The Law of Forgiveness, and she also talks about it in The Dynamic Laws of Healing. Another good book is 'A Course in Miracles' - there is one section that talks about forgiveness too. If you have neglected your spiritual side, depression will be a result, and these books will help to revive that part of your life...the most important part...because we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Love your self, express gratitude for everything, and do random acts of kindness, do no harm to any living thing. Good luck to you...may you have a happy and prolific life. |
