She may have something other than depression going on. First of all depression would involve being sad ALL the time. Also, most depressed people can not enjoy things that used to bring them pleasure. The agitation and anger indicates something is really stressing her out. This could be a hormone imbalance, or any number of other issues. She should see her GP for a check up. If her physical health is normal, then she might consider talking to a therapist to figure out what is bothering her.

Your friend needs to get involved in some activity she enjoys and be around other people. It's easy to fall into the stress-eating trap when you're alone and sad. Turning to food won't make you happy, just fat. Something as simple as going for a walk helps too.

Wow! Depression is such a difficult thing to go through and when you are depressed it is so hard to lift your spirits and feel good. I suffer from depression and I don't take any meds for it so these are things I have done to help me feel better: I try to laugh. Sometimes I watch funny movies, listen to jokes, etc. Laughing really helps lifting up ones spirits. Try to remind your friend of all the wonderful things in her life and to be grateful for them. Maybe she could keep a journal with all of the things she is happy/ grateful for and she can also record her thoughts and emotions and anything she is going through. I started listing everything I am thankful for and that has helped me not feel so depressed because I try to focus on the positive, although it is easier said than done sometimes. Try to get her to go outside and enjoy the sunshine. Or what about going to do some volunteer work? Doing volunteer work helps me to feel better. If she enjoys reading maybe give her some books. I suffer from depression and some books that help me sometimes are The Secret, 100 Simple Secrets of Happy People, and Feel it Real: A Guided Approach to Bringing the Law of Attraction into Your Life. Try to get your friend to stay away from TV. There's just too much depressing stuff on TV, from movies to news to TV shows to reality shows. My pets always make me feel better when I am around them. Having a purpose in life also helps with depression. Sometimes I feel so depressed or things seem hopeless and I remind myself of my life purpose or goals. Listening to upbeat music helps me cope even though I prefer to listen to depressing music when I am depressed. :( Physical activity helps me to feel better, and so does getting out of the house for a while, even if it's just for a walk or a ride to the store. Sometimes I get upset and instead of moping all day long I will give myself say 5 minutes to have a pity party then I try everything I can to snap out of it. I hope these suggestions help.

There are many ways through which someone can be helped, but the person must agree with a treatment. The best natural depression treatment is through scientific dream interpretation, for many reasons. You may learn more about it reading this article: ezinearticles.com/ ?Natural-Depression-Cure---Real-Mental-Health-For-Life &id= 1867647 If a patient doesn´t cooperate with the doctor, and refuses following psychotherapy, nothing can be done. However, the scientific method of dream interpretation gives you a magical solution: you can be helped with the translation of your own dreams, and receive information about your friend´s mental health in the dream messages. This is how patients that suffer from grave mental illnesses are helped, because they don´t cooperate with their doctor. Another thing that you have to understand though, is that you must not forget your own mental health when you help other people. Don´t give too much of yourself, don´t expect anything, and accept the failure if you won´t be able to help her at the end. You are not a doctor, and you can feel frustrated after spending all your energy on trying to help your friend, if you´ll have negative results. Especially for this reason, you need the guidance of the unconscious mind in your own dreams. The dream messages will show you what to do. Best wishes!
