Avoiding alcohol, sugars and starchy carbs will help A LOT, as these can cause fatigue which worsens depression. Staying hydrated is important, and studies have shown that people with depression are often chronically dehydrated. Regular moderate exercise is important, and boost vitamin D levels from the sunshine. See the weblink below to get some additonal info.
