I'm 13 years old...I admit I very disappointed in my life. I have no friends...I doubt people even care about me..including my parents. I cry everytime my parents yell at me because I take a moment to think and I agree with them about disappointing I am. My broher yells at me, saying I'm a no lifer and I should just drop dead because no one would care. I do not at all deny that, I think he's right. I want to start over..I want to have friends and be happy. I spend my time on the computer all day because I can only express my feelings to the people I talk to online. Please help me

Start making friends and forget about negative things people say. Start thinking positive.

You should not be disappointed in your life. and i amsure your paretns do care about you. I cry everytime my parents yell at me to but just because ty yell at you dosent mean that they dont like or care about you. And as for your brother, im sure he dosent mean that just ignore him and walk away. Mabey you should join an afterschool program like a sport or anything that involves teamwork or socializing.Mabey in doing that you will gain some more friends. Hope this helps ! :)

Man, I feel for you. You really do need to focus on the positive things. Just because some calls you something doesn't mean it's true any more than if they strapped wheels on their butt and called themselves a wagon. Brother, just cause someone harshes on you does not mean they know what the hell they are talking about. You have virtues, talents and ambitions you have yet to discover. The lack of friends will change with your attitude to life. You have to be a friend to have a friend. Have a great life man, you deserve it.

Join some clubs, stay off the computer. It makes you feel bad about yourself...I mean go on, but moderately, I know what you mean by the computer thing, but find something else to eat up your time because staying on the computer isn't really getting your mind off things.

Talk to a councilor at school. You need to know that you are definitely a person who has much to offer. I can tell that just from this posting. Don't give up........get the help you need! I'm pulling for you! Good Luck!

Firstly, can i just say me heart goes out to ya. I know that being crucified like that, especially from the people you love can be absolutely soul destroying. My brother calls me 'the add-on' and 'it' and is physically abusive too. I won't say go to the doctors, or go to the therapists, especially if ur in the UK. In my experience all you do is whine about your problems and nothing ever really gets resolved. My advice? bury your heart to a place not even you can touch it, so that no one can hurt you. Then walk out the front door and walk. Count all the things that you've done in your life, and don't say 'oh that was nothing'. Everything you have done is something YOU'VE accomplished. Build yourself up a little, then go out and find people to connect with, let them, your new friends be the family you never had. But remember something, life is disappointing. YOU ARE NOT. ;)
