Happy pills are best when they come from within your mind. don't just pick up any from the chemist's. see a doctor who will put you on the right drug. there is no one drug cure all for mental depression.

Try St Johns Wort or something with Valerian in it. There are also a number of other things that you can do to improve mental health, like making sure that you get enough sleep, cutting down the amount of caffeine or other stimulants in your diet and not overloading on sugar as it can cause you to get lows after the initial high. These are not the be all and end all of depression and if you still feel bad then see a doctor, talk to a counsellor or try to work out the issues because you may have a more serious problem.
