What are the symptoms of bipolar depression?
I have looked a little online at medical websites at bipolar depression, but I would like to know what other people have noticed with their bipolar depression or someone they know's bipolar depression. I would like to know what are some common causes of extreme mood swings in women , if bipolar depression is not the cause of it. And also, what is the best way to help someone dealing with bipolar depression?

Natural Ways to eliminate and/or reduce symptoms of Bipolar, Depression & Extreme PMS moods?
I have been on medications for Bipolar Disorder for about 13 years now and the results have not been too wonderful. As a result of the Bipolar, I also suffer from extreme depression at times and extreme mood swings for a week or two leading up to my cycle. So really there is only about a week or two in the month where I feel able to deal with the world on a complete level. Mind you, I am not crazy. Before having my baby I was a professional in the medical field and have a very functional life. I am just looking for better ways of dealing with these problems. Please share your similar and success stories. Also, has anyone been on a non medicated regimen and how has it worked?
Am I describing the symptoms of Bipolar Depression?
It's so weird I go from highs to lows. The only difference, though, is that I think half not all the time, but half the time they're anxiety induced. I know for a fact I have an anxiety disorder social anxiety, but that's beside the point. At one point, I'll be really happy. Confident in the decisions I've made, happy about life, about the future. I'll feel like I can accomplish anything. And then the next minute I'll randomly get depressed. I'll feel like every decision I've ever made was terrible, that I'm this, that... stuff that really hurts. Like I said, half the time it's anxiety based. I'll start panicking over something I said to someone that I felt was stupid, or something stupid I did. A time I was embarrassed, maybe. And I'll just start panicking and that'll bring it on... other times, my mood will just change, though, with or without anxiety. It's really frustrating, too. I want to feel the first way all the time, and I can't. Does this sound like Bipolar Disorder? Or could it be something different like just extra symptoms of an anxiety disorder?
